People say the nicest things

Whilst not aspiring to be loved and respected it’s always nice when someone says something really nice about us, on an individual level. We are, after all, a company of individuals. Whilst we could get all misty-eyed and talk about how we love what we do and wax on about changing the world we’ll avoid that.

Here is a short list of nice things said about us.

“Martin is astute: he focuses on the key commercial aspects of internet business and, with his team, delivers technical solutions that work. It’s sometimes hard to keep up with the stream of ideas that he and Connected produce. Travelling as a passenger when he is driving is not for the faint-hearted.” September 24, 2009
Robert Anthony, Director – Ri5

“Martin is one of those people that you love to recommend; he really understands his subject. His company has an excellent solution, these people are ‘doers’, not ‘talkers’. They deliver results, not vague promises. Martin can be very direct, which surprises some people. Please understand that his opinions are expressed after thorough research and a passion to deliver the best solution for you. I wish Connected all the best, when I dealt with the company they were clearly under-appreciated.” September 22, 2009
Ian Dayes telemarketing and SME Sales Force, Owner, ID Associates

“I have worked with Martin on a number of client projects over the last few years and have been blown away by the capacity of his business to get under the skin of what a client needs and deliver impressive results. Connected’s passport system is truly leading edge and I’ve recommended them to a number of clients. Martin is a charismatic and gifted individual who’s not only full of smart ideas but also has the nous to execute them.” September 22, 2009
Cameran Harman, Director – AOL

“Martin is an exceptional theorist and entrepreneur who is clearly ahead of the technological curve and yet is able to share complex systems, thoughts and ideas with relative ease. Coupled with an intuitive and open mind, sound business technology and a team of specialists, Martin brings that added spark of genius to any project. He is a good laugh as well.” September 18, 2009
Mark Davey, Partner, Cliffe Associates Ltd

“Martin built the very first site we launched for www.ri5.co.uk back in 2001. His experience and contribution was excellent. He directed us through every stage of build and development and added value to our site at every opportunity. He would always produce good ideas on how we could improve the site and generate more revenue. He often forgets to take breath but his ideas are always worth listening to. His knowledge of business on the internet is second to none!” September 18, 2009
Kevin Turner, Director – Ri5

“Connected are fantastic partners to work with. As for Martin, his profile suggests a CEO, Entrepreneur, New Media Savvy Speed Freak. He certainly leads from the front, has more ideas than we know what to do with and gives us expert advice on new media…just don’t get in a car with him!” September 18, 2009
Jon Hughes, Marketing Director – Ultralase

“I have worked with Martin’s company Connected since 1997. They have consistently been ahead of the fast moving game of website development and driving of cost effective sales from a website, and in the process making many of their clients seriously wealthy.Even now, few have such a clear understanding of the importance of measuring everything that goes on inside a website to deliver blisteringly effective Return on Advertising Investment. Old fashioned big bucks media just can’t cope with the change that’s happening. Martin and his team are always a delight to work with. Consistently stimulating and on the ball.” October 27, 2008
David Pinchard, Managing Director – TopInterim

“A truly gifted CEO, Martin is almost unique in successfully combining the roles of CEO, sales and visionary in such a way that people not only understand where he is going but want to tag along for the ride. Working with Martin is a challenge – you are constantly stretched to stay on the pace. Highly recommended.” October 10, 2007
Philip de Lisle, Mentor

“I have known and worked with Liam in my capacity of Designer and Creative Director at GUS and Littlewoods Shop Direct. In every project I commissioned from him I found Liam to be fastidously efficient, helpful and thoroughly professional. He always exceeded my expectations. I have no hesitation in recommending him.” September 28, 2009
George Taylor, Independent Design Professional

“I first met Liam back in 1999 but his reputation in the industry did precede him, as Liam was then and is now a true character, once met never forgotten. I believe that you should have strong characters in industry or we would all fall into mediocrity. Having said all this Liam’s business acumen is the one thing you can not ignore as it shines through. He instinctively knows what is good or bad and what will or will not work and more importantly is not afraid to tell you. He has a fanatical attention to detail with a real flair to make things look visually pleasing. He has passed on lots of his wisdom to me during our time together and it was a pleasure to work for him and an honour to endorse him. I can categorically say that Liam is one of those people in business that it’s always worth knowing.” December 22, 2009
Simon Lundy, Account Director – Fourninety Ltd

“Liam applies a phenomenal level of drive and energy to client servicing and business development. His skills lie in recognising an opportunity to be far more than that which it first appears and how to not only deliver what the client has requested, but also how to engage them to consider a range of alternative & additional routes that will ensure the highest level of project efficiency, profit and sustainability possible.” December 7, 2009
Tom Wray, Business Development Manager – Fourninety Ltd

“I have had the pleasure or working with Liam as a customer and a colleague. In both relationships I have found Liam to be incredibly passionate about the impossible and how to make it possible. He is without doubt a great professional who is fast fast becoming a legend in his own right. This man will never let you down!” September 28, 2009
Steve Haithwaite, Group Media Services Director – Tesco plc

“Liam demonstrates leadership in terms of Service Delivery, he takes responsibility seriously and always delivers benefits for his customers. He always takes on a challenge and provides honest and valued input to all projects he is involved with. Liam values the difference between ‘winning and losing’ which is great credit to him as he laughs in the face of adversity. Liam also has my total respect in business and personally, his integrity is certainly intact. Finally, everyone loves Liam because he makes people happy” September 28, 2009
Graham Ibbetson, Managing Director – XCM

“Liam is a qualified manager with special analytical and organizational skill. Devoted, reliable, extremely keen and updated, truely international spirit, yet down to earth when it goes to set up good relations among clients and colleagues. He has the ability to find out the crucial points and the weak spots of a project. Definately a honour to me having worked in the same place. A very positive influence to all of us.” September 28, 2009
Germano Dal Negro, Director, Flying Colours Media Service Srl

“Liam is a vastly experienced commercial operator – from the pre-digital age right up to now. He understands digital and it’s power/role in a true commercial context. His passion and positive nature make him extremely rewarding (and enjoyable) to work with – add this to the depth of technical experience he has behind him at Connected and there is a very high calibre operation that I would not hesitate to recommend.” August 16, 2010
David Crawford, Managing Partner – Ininc

“I found Sam’s work online and was instantly impressed. With a defined and professional style to his designs, I was quick to hire Sam as a designer for the artwork of my One Phat DJ podcast, initially as an experiment. The first commissioned piece went down a storm so it made sense to ask Sam to create a follow up piece. Again, he excelled and supplied in such a tight deadline too. We have now arranged an ongoing contract to continue designing artwork for the podcast.” April 19, 2008
