WordPress 3.7 release candidate is out

WordPress 3.7 is due for release in the next 2 weeks, and if you’re feeling brave you can get early access to the release candidate.

We’ll be rolling out the update onto WPE & Amazon AWS hosted clients over the next month as part of current support contracts.

Clients on legacy, or client-contracted hosting will need to request an update plan – automatic updates are not included for clients not on hosting contracts.

WordPress 3.7 introduces automatic security updates in background, so whilst not a feature rich update, it does move the security game on quite a bit. If you don’t want to have the framework updated automatically then get in touch with us now.

Note: if you are still using Git to manage version control (rather than VNX 4) then automatic updates are not supported and you’ll need to upgrade to VNX 4.
