Hi, I’m Jimmy and I split my time at Connected between the Client Services and Development teams. This means I get to work closely with both new and existing clients, putting me directly in touch with anyone who has anything to do with the WordPress installs.
Loving what I do
I started working with Connected in March 2014 and if I had to name one thing that I have learned in that time is that my work can (and should) be exciting and enjoyable. We achieve this in lots of different ways, like working ‘agile’, being time-efficient and getting out from time-to-time 😉
The ethos here is plain & simple and it’s there for all to see; work smart, work agile, no fuss, no stress.
Freelancing in the digital space
Being a Digital Freelancer, with a Top 10 agency, not only allows me to work with Connected’s awesome clients, it gives me a chance to work directly with local businesses, here in Sheffield, that need help with anything from development, branding & social media to SEO and digital marketing. Guys like All Things Borrowed and Brunells Vintage Industrial are benefiting from key digital support services that I have picked up at Connected … and they love it!
When I’m not working
I’m not a hugely active bloke but I do play a bit of football (and watch a LOT of it), sing/play guitar in a Sheffield Wedding Band, spend time with my wife and two very active kids and I do like to get out to the pub once in a while.
