Remember when Smartphones saved time

The rise of the smart device in your pocket was driven by a need for efficiency and a disconnect from big screen devices.

The problem is that Smartphones are now the greatest time-suck on our lives: doom-scrolling on IG, rabbitholes on Wikipedia, mobile gaming, Netflix bingeing… the list goes on.

“Wanna burn hours doing nothing product? There’s an app for that!”

Worse still, our smartphone has given advertisers a way to interrupt our lives 24×7. We pay hundreds and thousands of pounds a year to permit this, in exchange for just a handful of truly useful apps: Maps, Uber, and remote access such as warming up your car or switching on the heating. Or writing this.

How about where Apple Vision Pro fit? Worse or better? We think we know.
